Overview

In this role, you help shape procurement strategy for a key commodity and drive value through supplier selection and negotiations. You’ll align procurement with Product Leadership, Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support development and lifecycle of products. You will lead supplier management and strategic partnerships while advancing cost-out programs and cash-flow improvements. This position offers exposure to cross-functional teams in a global, innovation-driven energy company with a decarbonization focus.

Responsabilità

- Contribute to long-term commodity strategies and monitor procurement KPIs
- Integrate commodity plans with product, sales, engineering, and manufacturing objectives
- Drive supplier development and management for New Product Development initiatives
- Lead negotiations and issue purchase orders to optimize value (cost, quality, delivery)




- Develop and execute procurement initiatives supporting deflation targets, cycle-time reduction, and cash-flow improvements
- Leverage S&OP; data to align supplier capacity with business goals
- Act as a primary contact for Product Leadership, Sales, and Engineering on commodity strategy
- Support cost-out programs and strategic partnerships

Requisiti fondamentali

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or a related field and experience in Procurement or Commodity Management
- Experience in Procurement, Operations, and Supply Chain management
- Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude toward change and willingness to view challenges as opportunities -- travel as needed
