Customer Order Management Specialist – 1-year Temporary Contract

As Randstad Enterprise, for one of our Clients, we are looking for a Customer Order Specialist in a Temporary contract for 1 year to join the Team in Italy.
Responsibilities
- Enter, monitor and update orders within SAP.
- Manage the entire Order-to-Deliver (O2D) process, from order receipt through customer delivery.
- Monitor product availability and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with warehouses, carriers, and internal functions involved in the process.
- Manage operational issues and related escalations.
- Maintain ongoing communication with customers.
- Support reporting activities and service KPI monitoring.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Order Management roles, including the operational management of the end-to-end order lifecycle.
- Excellent knowledge of SAP, specifically Sales & Distribution (SD) module.
- Fluent Italian and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
Preferred skills and experiences
- Experience in multinational companies or structured business environments.
- Knowledge of logistics and distribution processes.
- Familiarity with KPIs and service performance metrics.
- Strong customer focus, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of accuracy, proactivity, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines. xivgfpx
Additional information
- The salary for this position is € 33.000 gross per year.
