Hiring Company: fora world-leading producer of professional coffee and vending machines, our Recruitment Engineers are looking for aR&D; MANAGER - PAYMENT SYSTEMS & DIGITAL SOLUTIONS.

Core Responsibilities:

The R&D; Manager will lead the development of payment systems and digital solutions within the Electronics R&D; Team.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership and project management skills.

She/He will be responsible for driving the development of hardware, firmware, mobile, and cloud -based solutions, leading a team of 3–5 engineers, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from concept

to market launch. This role requires a broad product vision, a hands‑on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate both internal resources and external partners in a dynamic and innovation -driven environment.

Main activities:

- Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary R&D; team of 3 –5 engineers, fostering technical excellence, collaboration, and professional growth
- Drive the development of payment systems and digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product strategy
- Manage Hardware, Firmware, Mobile, and Cloud development projects throughout their complete lifecycle
- Define technical roadmaps, product architectures, and technology choices in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders
- Coordinate the integration of embedded devices, mobile applications, cloud platforms, and backend services
- Ensure effective collaboration among Hardware, Firmware, Software, and Product teams to achieve successful product delivery
- Lead technical problem‑solving activities, identifying root causes and driving robust corrective actions
- Manage technical activities performed by external partners and suppliers, ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance with requirements

Essential Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in R&D;, engineering management, or technical leadership roles
- Experience leading and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Solid understanding of embedded systems, firmware development, and electronics
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
- Experience managing complex projects involving hardware, software, mobile, and cloud technologies
- Strong product-oriented mindset with a global view of system design, customer needs, and business objectives
- Excellent problem-solving and decision‑making capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Results‑driven approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience collaborating with external development partners and suppliers

Desiderable Competencies:

- Experience in electronic payment systems, fintech, POS solutions, or self -service devices
- Knowledge of Android and iOS application development
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms and backend architectures
- Experience with IoT and connected devices
- Knowledge of C, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working in international and cross‑functional organizations

Location: Valbrembo (Bergamo)

Contract Offered:

CCNL Metalmeccanico, full time, permanent contract

Compensation:

RAL: from45.000 €, commensurate with experience, skills, and seniority
