Randstad Aerospace Division is looking for a BUYER for a leader company operating in the Aeronautical sector
As Accessories & Controls Buyer you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods.
You will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. In this role, you will have knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others, and you will be aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Manage the sourcing process, from evaluation of requestor's requirements to PO placement
Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution. Manage problems and schedule changes
Support the strategy and robustness definition and execution for the specific set of goods within the Accessories & Controls Commodity
Perform spent analysis for the given set of goods within Accessories & Controls commodity and with reference to the Operational Plan and Strategy goals (including deflation, costout, days to pay)
Apply cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations
Negotiate PO and purchase contracts, following applicable company and government regulations
Work in collaboration with Supplier Quality Teams and Procurement team to meet established goal of OTD, span, delinquency and vendor recovery
In performing your activities,
it will be mandatory for you to maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with supply base and internal customers
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Previous experience in sourcing organization
Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
Ability to handle several activities simultaneously, manage multiple priorities and resolve appropriately
Professional working knowledge of SAP MRP software system
Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)
Highly motivated team member
Fluent in Italian and English language, both written and spoken
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
Desired characteristics

Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills, with sound judgment and a diplomatic attitude
