The entire business outside Germany and Austria is managed at Krombacher International GmbH. The main tasks are to open up and develop markets and to communicate with customers and consumers around the world.
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for the on-trade channel. The identified candidate will report direct to the Italian Country Director and will be responsible for overseeing and developing the Krombacher beer business in the assigned area.
- Account Management: Build and strengthen relationships with existing distributors and key accounts, while identifying and developing new distribution partnerships.
- Business Development: Identify and activate new points of sale, particularly premium outlets, and drive sustainable sales growth.
- Territory Management: Take full responsibility for the assigned regions, including sales planning, commercial targets and regular field visits.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Drive sell-in and sell-out activities, implement commercial and trade marketing initiatives, and support distributor sales teams in maximizing market performance.
- Brand Activation:
Strengthen Krombacher's brand positioning, visibility and presence at the point of sale, with a strong focus on premium outlets.
- 5+ years of experiencein industrial beer or beveragecompany in the (premium) on-trade channel, incl. people management
- Excellent knowledge of the northeastern Italy beverage and beer market and consumption points, ideally based in the Veneto region, particularly in the provinces of Padua, Venice, Vicenza, or Treviso.
- Strong expertise in and passion for beer and draft beer culture
- University degree and advanced MS Office applicationskills
- Native Italian with good English (speaking and writing),German is nice to have
- Strong analytical skills, experienced usage of relevant sources and tools and excellent negotiation skills
- High motivation, customer focus, entrepreneurial mindset, willingness to travel frequently within the territory
