Following the successful establishment of Engineers in Action in Italy, we are opening applications for the next cycle of our flagship graduate engineering programme. Based in Milan, the programme gives early-career engineers the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to international renewable energy projects. As an Engineer in Action within M Renewables – Energy Transition, you will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the development and delivery of solar, energy storage and other renewable energy projects. Depending on the position, your responsibilities may include:
- Project development and permitting
- Engineering design and technical coordination
- Project management and reporting
- Health, Safety and Environment activities
- Construction and project delivery support
- Collaboration with international teams and stakeholders What you will gain:

- Opportunities for longer-term career development following successful programme completion Who we are looking for: We welcome applications from engineering graduates with 0–2 years of relevant professional experience, particularly in:
- Energy Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Other related engineering disciplines You should also have:
- Excellent command of Italian and English
- Residence and valid work authorisation in the European Union
- Availability to work from METLEN’s Milan office
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
