Talamona manufacturing plant is the center of excellence for high-tech turbomachinery components, and takes advantage of top-notch technology in the industry such as additive manufacturing, advanced coatings, precision machining, robotics and automation.
Partner with the best
As a Manufacturing Engineering professional at Baker Hughes, you will support the development, improvement, and execution of manufacturing processes for high-tech turbomachinery components. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, quality, safety, and operational performance, contributing to the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the development, optimization, and standardization of manufacturing processes to improve quality, productivity, cost, and cycle times.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and operational teams to ensure robust, efficient, and repeatable manufacturing solutions.
- Contribute to the introduction of new products, processes, equipments,
and technologies within the manufacturing environment (Production cycles, CAD/CAM).
- Analyze process performance, production feedback, and technical data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
- Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, standards, work instructions, and process-related information.
- Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot issues, reduce downtime, and ensure product quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practices across manufacturing activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company requirements.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role ideally you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent proven experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, production engineering, machining, or technical process support within an industrial environment.
- Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and industrial operations.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, CNC machining, automation,
robotics, digital manufacturing tools, or additive manufacturing proceses is considered a plus.
- Problem-solving mindset, analytical approach, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and team-work skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and support multiple technical activities.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
