pWAVENURE is looking for a passionate Junior System Administrator to participate in planning and implementing infrastructure policies and procedures within the company, capable of delivering results and eager to learn.
The ideal candidate also has strong communication skills, is accustomed to working under pressure and has predisposition to teamwork and problem solving. /p h3Responsibility /h3 ul liSupport the installation, optimization, integration, troubleshooting, backup, recovery, modifications, security, and upgrading of Operational support systems /li liMonitor IT systems and escalates problems /li liSupport installation of new IT systems: Servers, networks and software roll-outs /li liCollaborate in hardware and software projects /li liWork on a ticketing system way /li /ul h3Training and Technical Skills required /h3 ul liExcellent problem solving skills /li liKnowledge of IT systems: Servers (Windows and/or Linux), networks, virtualization etc.
/li liExperience with database admin and troubleshooting (MySQL) /li liKnowledge of Apache and Tomcat /li liGood communication skills (English) are required (both verbal and written) /li /ul h3Personal characteristics /h3 pThe ideal candidate has communication skills, can work autonomously and proactively and has an aptitude for teamwork and problem solving.
