Competitive An established Italian IP consulting firm, renowned for its expertise spanning chemical, pharmaceutical, life sciences, biotech, and engineering sectors, is seeking an experienced Patent Paralegal to join its domestic patent team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
Key Responsibilities
Patent Filings: Prepare and file European Patent (EP) and PCT applications for both domestic and international clients. Global Portfolio Management: Coordinate and manage patent filings worldwide through an established network of local agents. Attorney & Client Support: Assist clients and internal patent attorneys with all prosecution, filing, EP validations in Italy, and administrative procedures before the Italian Patent Office. Docketing & Deadlines:
Monitor, track, and manage all prosecution deadlines efficiently. Candidate Profile
Experience:
Around 3-5+ years of experience as a Patent Paralegal handling Italian patent procedure. Language
Skills:
Excellent written and spoken English. Technical Knowledge: Prior experience with foreign filings is beneficial.
