ACCIONA CONSTRUCTION is looking for Site Operator to provide practical support during caisson production activities in Ravenna.
Job Description
Provide practical support to the superintendent and production team during caisson production activities, particularly in relation to the installation of steel plates.
The role will perform basic operational and checking activities, following the instructions of the Superintendent and ensuring compliance with safety, production and quality requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Superintendent and production team with daily caisson production activities.
- Support basic checks of the positioning and installation of steel plates.
- Follow drawings, work instructions and production procedures.
- Report visible installation,
production or quality issues to the Superintendent.
- Assist workers during production and installation activities when required.
- Support basic quality checks and site inspections.
- Complete simple production records and checklists.
- Keep the work area organised and support the proper use of materials and equipment.
- Comply with health and safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Required Skills and Competencies
Requirements
- Previous practical experience in construction, concrete works, industrial production or a similar environment.
- Experience in maritime works or caisson production would be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of technical drawings or work instructions would be valued.
- Practical, reliable and safety-conscious approach.
- Willingness to perform hands-on site activities and work under supervision.
- Ability to work within a shift-production environment.
- Basic English or Italian communication skills would be an advantage.
