THE ROLE
We are opening the Italian market and are looking for our first sales representative in Italy. This is a hybrid role. Part of the work is done remotely: prospecting, emails, calls and video meetings. A significant part is on the road: meeting clients, visiting their sites and running product demonstrations in person.
You will be the face of Nordic Chem in Italy, with direct support from our team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and approach Italian commercial cleaning companies and facility management companies
- Prospect by email, LinkedIn and phone to book meetings
- Travel to meet prospects and clients in person, and run video meetings when relevant
- Organise site audits and run on-site product demonstrations with prospects
- Work with our sales support team, who handle quotes, proposals and logistics
- Keep your pipeline up to date in our CRM
- Share market feedback to help shape our approach in Italy
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must have:
- Based in Italy, with a driving licence and the ability to travel regularly to meet clients
- You enjoy meeting clients face to face and demonstrating products on site. This is not a purely remote or online sales role
- Native or fluent Italian, plus good working English (our headquarters team works in English)
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally including face-to-face selling
- Self-starter, comfortable organising your own week and working remotely
Nice to have:
- Experience or a network in commercial cleaning, facility management, building services or cleaning supplies
No prior knowledge of the cleaning industry or surface coatings is required. We provide full training on the product, the market and our sales approach.
