pCrane Worldwide Logistics is a leader in supply chain solutions with over 130 locations across 30 countries providing individual services that address our client’s logistics challenges. /p pWe are seeking for an Export Specialist based in Livorno. The ideal candidate has experience in the logistics field and a strong understanding of export procedures and processes. /p pThe Export Specialist is responsible for processing shipments and all related activities for an assigned base of accounts. The resource works with clients, carriers and potential clients on a daily basis. /p h3Essential Job Functions /h3 ul liPrepare documentation, dock receipts, bills of lading, export declarations /li liFile SED’s (Shippers Export Declarations) /li liTrack and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery /li liProvide accounting department with proper and correct billing information /li liCommunicate with clients regarding disposition of Freight (i.e. tracking tracing, routing dispatching, and rate quotations) /li liCommunicate with vendors/suppliers regarding shipment dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates /li liCommunicate correspond with other Company branches and agents for client satisfaction, and ensure excellent service execution /li liSeek the most profitable mode of shipment,
yet meet client’s requirement for the movement of freight /li liOther duties as assigned /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 pPosition may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking.
