If you’re interested in architecture, design, hospitality, or guest experience, we invite you to explore opportunities with Utopia. /ph3About The Role /h3pWe’re looking for a Head of Delivery to take ownership of Utopia’s entire luxury construction portfolio and build the organization that delivers it. You’ll establish and lead our Project Management Office and construction engineering function, and you’ll be accountable for every project from permits and approvals through execution and final handover: on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards. The role is fully remote with business trips, covering projects in the Middle East, Western Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliOwn delivery of a portfolio of high-end hospitality and luxury residential projects running in parallel, from property acquisition and due diligence through planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and operational handover /liliBuild and lead the Project Management Office (PMO), setting up project governance, planning, reporting, controls, and performance management across all projects /liliEstablish and manage the construction and engineering function, including site engineers, technical supervision, quality control, and construction standards /liliHold full accountability for portfolio-wide budgets, schedules, quality, risks, and resource allocation, so that delivery is predictable across every project /liliOversee contractors, cost management, and high-end finishing, applying sound technical and commercial judgement to protect quality and budget /liliManage relationships with local authorities, consultants, and statutory bodies to secure regulatory approvals without delaying the programme /liliLead multidisciplinary teams, build a culture of accountability, and hold project managers, consultants, and contractors responsible for results /liliSpot problems early, make decisions, and drive corrective actions, rather than simply reporting progress /liliGive leadership clear, regular reporting on portfolio status, risks, and escalations /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture,
or an equivalent field /lili10+ years of experience in construction and development delivery, including senior responsibility for multiple projects at the same time /liliProven track record delivering luxury residential and hotel or hospitality projects, managed as a portfolio rather than as a single project /liliExperience building or leading a PMO and a construction engineering function /liliHands‑on experience with project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar /liliA hands‑on, proactive, and decisive approach: structured, results‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail /liliFluent English /li /ulh3Nice to have /h3ulliProject Management Certification /liliSpanish speaking skills (optional) /li /ulh3We offer /h3ulliHigh-end international projects.
