You will work alongside backend, web, iOS, and Android engineers, as well as Product Managers and Designers,
in either a Product team (building features used directly by customers) or a Platform team (developing the scalable foundations that help Product teams move faster). Your team owns a clear mission end-to-end, following our "you build it, you own it" approach, and you will stay connected to the wider Backend community through our Backend Guild. /p h3What You'll Do /h3 ul liDesign, build, deploy, and maintain services handling real financial transactions, owning reliability in production, not just at merge time /li liCo-own service architecture, resilience, and scalability with respect to Domain-Driven Design principles /li liGrow in technical leadership: lead design discussions, anticipate risks, and mentor less experienced engineers /li liDrive continuous improvement, from fixing flaky CI to running post-mortems and propagating learnings across the team /li liContribute to discovery, make technical decisions, monitor production performance, and steadily raise quality standards /li /ul h3What We're Looking For /h3 ul liTechnical expertise: Strong backend engineering experience with exposure to large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints /li liStack fluency: You don't need to know our exact stack, but you transfer fast and are comfortable with similar technologies /li liQuality-driven: You write tests, set up monitoring, handle incidents methodically,
