pThe (Senior) Software Engineering Manager leads the software engineering and product team for a global, cloud-based digital platform around Laboratory Automation Digitization. Sub-product owners and software developers report to this role. Own the full lifecycle, from demand intake and prioritization through requirements engineering, development, testing, QA, release, production support, and business continuity. Mature the team and its processes, scale delivery, and help drive digital transformation in laboratory operations. /pulliOversees all steps of system development life cycles to assure conformance with established standards. /liliResolves problems by devising or modifying procedures. /liliConsiders equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results when developing resolutions. /liliProvides direction and assistance to complete analysis of software technology projects and programs. /liliDefines project requirements by identifying project milestones, forming project team, establishing project budget, developing schedules, assigning, prioritizing and monitoring work, implementing productivity standards, and resolving operations problems.
/liliDevelops long and short-range strategic operating plans for the implementation and deployment of software services. /liliMonitors project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions. /liliDetermines the appropriate staffing for assigned software services. /liliDirects the selection and training of personnel within the limits of organization administrative policy. /liliInterfaces with other departments to establish and analyze product technology needs. /liliResponsible for Service Level Agreements or Operational Level Agreements for assigned software services. /liliManages the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and followed. /lilicoordinate functions of multiple group leaders and their teams. /liliRead and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. /liliPerforms other duties as directed. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
