Leonardo is a trusted technological and industrial partner of Governments, Defence Administrations, Institutions and Enterprises.Within the Business Control Area, we are looking for a Program Controller for our site in Cascina Costa (Varese, Italy), who will support the financial planning, monitoring and performance control of complex programs, acting as a key business partner for Program Managers and cross-functional teams.JOB TITLE: Program ControllerACTIVITIESThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following activities:Support program planning, budgeting and forecasting activities throughout the program lifecycle.Plan and monitor program costs, revenues and margins, ensuring consistency with business objectives.Define and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related financial reporting structures.Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions and recovery plans.Define methodologies and requirements for collecting, consolidating and managing program financial information.Prepare and analyze periodic performance reports and dashboards for management and key stakeholders.Support Program Managers and project teams in evaluating the financial impact of business decisions and operational alternatives.Act as a focal point for program financial planning tools,
methodologies and processes.Collaborate with Finance, Accounting and other business functions to ensure compliance with corporate procedures and financial policies.Support revenue allocation and revenue recognition activities in accordance with applicable accounting standards.Analyze overall business performance and provide insights to support decision-making processes.REQUIREMENTSEducationMaster's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering or equivalentSeniorityJunior: 1-3 years of experience in Controlling, Finance, FP&A;, Project Control or similar roles.Technical Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processesUnderstanding of cost control and financial performance analysisKnowledge of project and program management principlesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsKnowledge of ERP systems (SAP is considered a plus)Familiarity with revenue recognition and management accounting principlesStrong analytical and quantitative skillsBehavioral CompetenciesProactivityProblem SolvingFlexibility and adaptabilityTeamwork and collaborationEffective communication skillsAttention to detailResults-oriented mindsetLanguage SkillsEnglish: B2 level or higherIT SkillsMicrosoft Office Suite (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)SAP and Business Intelligence tools are considered a plusOtherAbility to work in an international and cross-functional environmentSeniority:JuniorPrimary Location:IT - Varese - Cascina CostaContract Type:Total Base Pay Range:32K-43KHybrid Working:Hybrid
