About the role:
JOB TITLE: Finance Accountant
LOCATION: Milan (Hybrid)
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent, tempo pieno
SALARY RANGE: €25,000 – €30,000 gross/year
Seniority: mid to junior
What you will do
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide a clear picture of WeRoad’s financial health.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections, ensuring smooth cash flow management.
Support budgeting and forecasting, analyzing variances to inform strategic decision-making.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards, while supporting external audits.
Support identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline accounting operations.
Partner with teams across the organization to deliver financial insights that support business initiatives.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of 1 or max 2 years in accounting or finance , with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
Technical Skills: Excel proficiency, knowledge of accounting software,
and familiarity with ERP systems (Business Central is a strong plus). Solid knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC); IFRS knowledge is a plus.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Data-driven, detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to solving problems.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a simple, clear way to non-financial stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset, proactive and accountable, flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, curious and eager to grow in a scale-up.
High level of English, written and spoken.
