At Hyatt Centric Milan Centrale, we are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Located in the vibrant heart of Milan, our hotel combines contemporary hospitality, exceptional service, and authentic guest experiences. We are seeking a culinary professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, is passionate about quality and teamwork, and is eager to contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in all food preparations.
Supervise, support, and motivate the kitchen team during service.
Contribute to menu development and seasonal updates, bringing creativity and attention to guest preferences.
Ensure high standards of food presentation, quality, and consistency across all outlets.
Monitor and maintain compliance with HACCP procedures and food safety regulations.
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and efficiency throughout all kitchen areas.
Manage stock levels,
orders, and supplies in collaboration with the Head Chef.
Support training and development initiatives for junior kitchen team members.
Assist in achieving departmental goals while maintaining Hyatt brand standards.
Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the culinary team.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of at least 2 years as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef, preferably in hotels or high-quality restaurant environments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the Italian language, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for culinary excellence and professional growth.
- Good knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety procedures.

RAL expected to range approximately between €26,000 and €28,000, to be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and level of seniority.
