The Role:
For our Supply Chain team, we are seeking a Senior Buyer who will report to the SCM Manager. You will be responsible for the procurement of materials within your scope, with a specific focus on active, passive, and electromechanical electronic components.
We are looking for an experienced professional capable of not only managing the purchasing process but also interpreting market trends, building effective supplier relationships, and responding swiftly to production requirements.
What you will do:
In your day-to-day role, you will:
- Manage purchase orders based on MRP proposals and internal requests;
- Oversee the entire order cycle, from supplier confirmation to final delivery;
- Negotiate and handle order adjustments—such as rescheduling (advancing or postponing) or cancellations—in line with production needs;
- Keep purchasing parameters, supplier data, and related lists up to date within the ERP system;
- Address supply-related issues, identifying alternative sourcing options when necessary;
- Work on cost optimization through RFQs, benchmarking, and the evaluation of various sourcing opportunities;
- Collaborate with the Planning, Warehouse, Quality, Sales, and R&D; departments to ensure production continuity;
- Scout for and identify new suppliers.
- Support the resolution of logistical, documentation, and administrative issues related to supplies.
Who we are looking for:
- 8–10 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably within an industrial setting;
- Knowledge of electronic components and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) logic;
- Experience in managing and negotiating with suppliers;
- The ability to balance precision with speed, managing priorities, suppliers, and critical issues without losing sight of production requirements;
- A practical approach to problem-solving and decision-making;
- A technical or commercial educational background;
- A good command of the English language, essential for operating effectively in an international environment;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is considered a plus.

- A contract under the Metalworking National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanica), with an indicative annual gross salary (RAL) of €38,000 – €48,000, determined based on your experience and skills.
