Job Purpose
UNICEF is expanding its digital fundraising capabilities to increase support for children worldwide. The Individual Giving (IG) team, which generates over USD 1 billion annually, is undertaking a digital transformation focused on improving donor acquisition, retention, and engagement through data-driven decision-making. This consultancy will support the Global Data and Insights team by developing advanced data models that can serve as global standards, particularly for the East Asia and Pacific region. Building on these models, the consultant will create dashboards and machine learning solutions while ensuring all data products are scalable, future-proof, and AI-ready, helping UNICEF maximize fundraising impact and outcomes for children.
Responsibilities
Develop advanced data models to serve as global standards, with a focus on the East Asia and Pacific region. Create scalable, future-proof, and AI-ready data products, including dashboards and machine learning solutions. Utilize data-driven decision-making to improve donor acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies.
Ensure all data products are designed for maximum fundraising impact and outcomes for children. Collaborate with the Global Data and Insights team to implement and refine data models and solutions. Support the digital transformation of UNICEF's fundraising capabilities. Analyze data to provide actionable insights for campaign optimization. Document data models, processes, and solutions for future reference and scalability. Stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics, machine learning, and fundraising technologies. Effectively communicate complex data insights and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in data and analytics.
Skills
Experience in cloud technologies (Google Analytics 4, Big Query), Strong SQL knowledge, Experience with relational and non-relational databases, Strong communication skills, Ability to convey complex information clearly, Experience building analytics dashboards, Using data for campaign optimization insights, Willingness to learn new technologies, Ability to explain marketing solutions to non-technical colleagues
