This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, well-educated and experienced candidate who enjoys combining childcare with a strong educational focus. /p pThe child attends anbEnglish-speaking school in Milan /b, so the family are looking for someone with excellent English and a strong educational background who can provide homework support and tutoring alongside the usual nanny responsibilities. /p h3The Role /h3 pThe nanny will be responsible for the child's day-to-day care, including morning and evening routines, school runs, activities and supporting their overall development. /p pThe family are particularly keen to find someone withbstrong educational and tutoring experience /bwho can help the child stay organised with schoolwork, encourage their academic interests and make learning engaging. /p pDuring term time, the nanny will also providebapproximately two hours of English tutoring to Mum /b, making excellent communication and English skills particularly important. /p pThe working day is broadly 6:30am–8:0pm,
but the nanny will havebsubstantial downtime while the child is at school /b, making this a more manageable schedule than the hours initially suggest. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProviding warm, attentive and engaging care for an 8-year-old /li liManaging morning and evening routines /li liSchool drop-offs and collections /li liDriving the child to activities, appointments and outings /li liSupporting homework and school projectsProviding educational support and tutoring /li liEncouraging the child's academic, social and personal development /li liOrganising age-appropriate activities and outings /li liSupporting the child's interests and hobbies /li liProviding approximately two hours ofbEnglish tutoring to Mum during term time /b /li liPreparing meals and snacks for the child /li liManaging children's laundry and belongings /li liKeeping the child's areas tidy and organised /li liSupporting with childcare-related household tasks /li liBeing happy to muck in and help the wider household when required /li liWorking as part of a team alongside the parents and existing household staff /li liTravelling extensively with the family at certain times of the year /li /ul pThe family already employs abgood housekeeper and cleaner /b, so this is primarily a childcare and educational role.
