Job title: Principal Engineer – Client Platform (React Native)

Milan (3 days onsite) Employment type: Permanent We’re currently partnering with a global fintech company looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Client Platform team with a strong focus on React Native and mobile platform architecture. This role is focused on improving scalability, tooling, architecture, and CI/CD across a large mobile app ecosystem. You’ll work on core platform capabilities used across multiple teams, helping improve developer experience, performance, stability, and long-term maintainability.
Key responsibilities
* Own and evolve core parts of the React Native client platform
* Lead large-scale technical initiatives across mobile platform and frontend infrastructure
* Improve tooling, CI/CD, app architecture,
scalability, and developer experience
* Work closely with JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend build tooling, and native iOS/Android integrations
* Mentor engineers and help drive technical best practices across teams Key

* Strong React Native experience
* JavaScript & TypeScript
* React Native internals
* Frontend build tooling (Babel / Metro / Webpack)
* CI/CD pipelines
* Experience working on large-scale mobile applications
