Industrial inventory controller
Job purposethe candidate is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory valuation, cost control and month-end closing activities, providing timely financial reporting and variance analysis. he/she also oversees inventory movements, stock monitoring and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and supporting cross-functional teams in optimizing inventory management.responsibilitiesensure period cost calculation, manufacturing and purchasing for industrial area and system maintenance; analyze product cost variations (average, standard, actual).monitor stock in transit, sales and returns cut-off on a monthly basis.guarantee timeliness, accuracy and completeness of month-end close for inventory, reserves and cogs, including account reconciliations and roll-forward.apply depreciation policy, calculate monthly delta and analyse standard gross margin.prepare monthly reporting for executive committee and support audit during stock-take and statutory closing.supervise merchandise flows, production and work orders, coordinating with procurement,
production planning and industrial controlling.coordinate inventory count processes and ensure correct transaction system management.provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis on inventory quality by season, product category or movement type.monitor stock levels for warehouses and corporate offices, ensuring proper application of internal procedures and supporting merchandising, production, procurement, logistics and industrial controlling activities, including stock reuse, recycling and disposal.knowledge & skills5-6 years of experience in industrial inventory controlling, preferably in the fashion industry.strong accounting and finance background related to inventory and cogs.advanced microsoft office skills, especially excel, and familiarity with bi tools; knowledge of stealth3000 is a plus.excellent written and spoken italian and english.good relational skills, teamwork, problem-solving and analytical abilities.compensationral €35,000 - €38,000.
