Pillar is an Italian startup founded on February 13, 2025. In less than a year, we raised €15.2 million to revolutionize the construction industry, and we are growing fast. Our mission is to rebuild its foundations. Our ambition is to manage 1 in 3 construction sites in Europe. We are Italian, but with a European vision The Italian construction industry is the backbone of the country's economy, involving nearly 5 million people, yet it is still managed with outdated tools. We have built an all-in-one platform that allows construction companies to oversee every job site, monitor profitability in real time. Until now, "marketing at Pillar" meant "marketing for Italy": one team, one market, no need to distinguish local from central. That's changing: we're standing up a central Growth/Marketing function (Paid, CRM & Lifecycle, SEO & Content). That means Italy needs its own owner for the first time, someone who takes on everything that made the market work so far. This is a founding role: you're not founding the Italian market, it already exists and performs but you are founding how we run it going forward, in a matrix instead of a silo. Own the italian marketing P&L;: pipeline, CAC, and customer acquisition targets for the market. Partner with the Paid vertical to create and localize campaigns, messaging, and budget allocation for Italy. Partner with CRM/Lifecycle to create and adapt nurture flows, segmentation, and lifecycle communication. Own local product marketing: positioning, messaging, and launches for Italy. Represent the voice of Italy in central planning
- flag what doesn't translate, propose what should be built locally. Work with Sales to align marketing-generated pipeline with sales capacity and feedback. Work with the Product and Central teams to align local marketing needs with their priorities. Report on market performance and translate local learnings into inputs for the central growth roadmap.

We are looking for someone who can operate as a local owner and a central partner at the same time. You have experience owning marketing (or product marketing or demand generation) for a specific market/country, ideally in B2B SaaS or a sales-led business. You're comfortable working in a matrix structure, taking direction and frameworks from central functions while owning local execution and results. CAC, ARR, pipeline, conversion, funnel, and you know how to tie local activity back to business outcomes. You have hands-on experience with at least one growth lever (paid, lifecycle/CRM, content/SEO, or product marketing) and enough fluency across the others to coordinate with specialists. You understand Italy's market dynamics, buyer psychology, and (ideally) some regulatory/industry context relevant to construction or another traditional B2B sector. You're comfortable with ambiguity, building a market from an early stage means the playbook isn't fully written yet. Experience launching or scaling a product in a new country/market. We're ambitious, and we raise the bar and take ownership as we go. Pillar isn't for you if you want to be a mere executor, want clearly defined boundaries, are looking for already-perfect processes, a calm pace, or someone to tell you exactly what to do every day. 30.000-€45.000, tailored to experience and expertise. Ownership: Real ownership of a critical growth area and collaboration with leadership and hands-on involvement in a new market expansion from day one. Languages: Native-level proficiency in Italian (C2) and professional working proficiency in English required. Spanish is a plus. Team: Offsite every 6 months. A dynamic, ambitious, and collaborative team focused on innovation and professional growth. Initial conversation alongside our Talent Acquisition specialists. # Brief 30-45 min interview with a member of the Marketing Team. # A final chat with our VP of Growth. If you are excited about the opportunity to shape marketing at Pillar and make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you. Build the system behind the scale. #
