Automation Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance & Automation Technician is a subject-matter expert in process automation with strong hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance capabilities. This role combines deep technical expertise with operational autonomy to manage complex maintenance activities and ensure the reliability and safety of production assets. The position is responsible for defining and improving preventive and corrective maintenance programs to guarantee business continuity. Provide advanced technical support to the Cadorago Distribution Center, focusing on the performance of slitting lines and automated packaging systems. Lead automation optimization and control system modifications across manufacturing equipment and infrastructure. Participate in local maintenance strategy, including budget input and subcontractor management. You have a minimum of 3 years of successful industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the paper, slitter/rewinder, or adhesive tape industries. You possess the proven ability to independently troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical systems on highly automated machinery. You have a solidunderstanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics.
Practical experience with automation networks(hardware and software).
Deep knowledge of Rockwell and Siemens technology will be considered a strong plus. You speak and write Italian fluently. English is a strong plus. Ability to analyzetechnical schemes andPLC software for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
