Electronic maintenance engineer
MSC Technology Italia is looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a background in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering to support the maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle management of equipment across MSC's global operations. The successful candidate will work closely with international engineering, maintenance, and operations teams, including the engineering team in Chennai, to coordinate maintenance activities, analyze equipment performance and failures, and continuously improve equipment reliability and availability. The role combines maintenance engineering, technical support, reliability analysis, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning, with a strong focus on optimizing asset performance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans.
- Coordinate and support remote maintenance and troubleshooting activities, working with local maintenance teams and international engineering teams.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance, availability, downtime, and failure trends, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring or critical failures and define appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
