Space missions engineer
To support our Company’s growth, we are looking for a Space Missions Engineer who will be part of our Systems Engineering Unit. In this role, you will contribute to the development and leadership of innovative space missions based on Small Satellites, with a primary focus on the technical coordination and management of a multi-disciplinary project team.
DUTIES
As a Space Missions Engineer, you will act as the Lead System Engineer for the mission development projects. You will ensure that every mission meets its end-to-end technical objectives, while leading and coordinating the technical project team toward successful mission implementation. The activities will include (but are not limited to):
- Lead the end-to-end development and coordination of space projects from phase A to phase E,
taking of all the interfaces and interactions between Space Segment, Ground Segment and Launch Segment;
- Manage of technical project’s schedule and implementation on short- and long-term basis (knowledge of JIRA, MS Project are preferred) on tools like JIRA;
- Day-to-day coordination with the Technical Team, Program Manager and Product Assurance Manager;
- Daily interface with Platform Systems Engineering, V&V; Systems Engineering and AIT Engineering;
- Coordination and supervision of activities of each subsystem responsible.
- Definition, management and review of technical requirements and specifications;
