Benelux Field Service Engineer
Job Description Role Mission Reporting to the EMEAI Field Service Manager, this Field Engineer is responsible for providing state-of-the-art onsite services (installation, preventive maintenance, break-fix/troubleshooting call-out, site survey etc.) and technical support to customers on our range of Auto ID products, in particular our range of Stationary Industrial Scanners and cameras. Key Responsibilities
- Install (mechanical, electrical), configure and start-up (commissioning) Datalogic equipment at customer sites as per pre-defined specifications
- Maintain, re-stamp, adjust and replace onsite Datalogic devices of existing customer systems
- Follow rigorously safety and security onsite company procedures
- Escalate to upper technical level problems that can’t be solved independently
- Issue timely and accurate service reports (including expenses report)
- Extend or help building a respectful relationship with customers by always adopting an exemplary attitude
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree in a technical field such as electronics.
- Languages: German as primary; English as additional language is considered a plus.
- Experience: Preferred is 2/3 years of prior experience on Field Service Activities in automation or other similar market with Electrical and Electronical devices.
