Global Senior Toxicologist
About the Role: As Global Senior Toxicologist, you will be part of the Food Safety & Quality department and be the Group subject matter expert on toxicological food safety risks, especially contaminants, directly reporting to Food Safety & Product Integrity Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
By covering this position, you will monitor external scientific, technical and regulatory evolutions in the field of chemical Food Safety (e.g. environment and process contaminants) applying horizon scanning best practices. Moreover, you will leverage on new developments when relevant and evaluate potential business impact enabling science-based and informed business decisions. You will drive the risk anticipation process from risk identification to risk mitigation,
to ensure all emerging or evolving risks are managed properly, by involving all the required functions and deliver risk assessments in all circumstances. You implement new state-of-the-art toxicological assessment methodologies and tools to conduct a robust risk analysis across the value chain enabling science-based decisions to predict and prevent potential Food Safety issues.
