European Central Transport Planner
About the Role: For our Supply Chain hub based in Alba (CN), we are currently looking for curious people to fill the role of European Central Transport Planners. In this role, you will join Ferrero’s European Central Transport team, where you will play a key part in planning and managing export transportation across Ferrero production sites in Europe. This includes overseeing road freight transport operations for finished goods, intermediates, semi-finished products, raw materials, and packaging from Ferrero plants, co-packers, and external warehouses towards our industrial and commercial network, or directly to customers.
Main Responsibilities:
Covering this position, you will develop weekly shipping plans by analyzing market and plant requirements,
stock levels across the industrial network, and production schedules. Your goal will be to ensure optimal service levels through effective transport planning. The Transportation Management System (TMS) will be your tool to optimize transport routes. Based on the tender share logic defined by Central Procurement, you will assign shipments to the appropriate carriers.
