Your role and responsibilities
In this role you will support product staff and LBL Trade Operations Managers by classifying products, software, and technology that ABB exports or imports with respect to government export control (dual-use and military) and customs (Harmonized System) lists. You will also support the classification of purchased third-party Products, software and raw material.
You will have a functional reporting line to the Local Trade Compliance Officer.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Managing and updating master data of ABB products, technologies and software (product description, HTS code, ECN/ECCN numbers) and supporting customs declarants with product information required for master data management and entries.
- Preparation of Product Classification Reports by conducting thorough research and analysis of ABB products.
- Regular analysis of the goods to be sold and/or shipped during the coming months (or past months for book-to-
