Contact: ****** A postdoc position will be available at the Physics Department, Politecnico di Milano, for an experimental activity related to the growth and characterization of low-dimensional magnetic systems (surfaces, interfaces and 2 D materials). The laboratory features Scanning Tunneling Microscopy, Auger Electron Spectroscopy, Low-Energy Electron Diffraction and (Organic) Molecular Beam Epitaxy in a UHV environment. Furthermore, a magneto-optical system (to study both linear and non linear effects) is available. The Main Scientific Activity Of The Lab Includes Investigating spinterfaces between organic (molecular layers and chiral molecules) and inorganic (both ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic) materials; single rare earth atoms embedded in ultrathin oxide matrices; 2 D magnetic materials grown in situ.
