We're currently partnering with a global fintech company looking for a Principal Engineer to join their Client Platform team with a strong focus on React Native and mobile platform architecture.
This role is focused on improving scalability, tooling, architecture, and CI/CD across a large mobile app ecosystem.
You'll work on core platform capabilities used across multiple teams, helping improve developer experience, performance, stability, and long-term maintainability.
Key responsibilities:
Own and evolve core parts of the React Native client platform
Lead large-scale technical initiatives across mobile platform and frontend infrastructure
Improve tooling, CI/CD, app architecture,
scalability, and developer experience
Work closely with Java Script/Type Script, frontend build tooling, and native i OS/Android integrations
Mentor engineers and help drive technical best practices across teams
Key skills:
Strong React Native experience
Java Script & Type Script
React Native internals
Frontend build tooling (Babel / Metro / Webpack)
CI/CD pipelines
Experience working on large-scale mobile applications
Collaboration with i OS & Android teams
Platform/infrastructure-focused mindset
AWS fundamentals
Node.js / Express exposure
