Job Description
You'll act as the primary accounting reference for the Italian entity, overseeing accounting activities performed by the Shared Service Center.
Your tasks will be:
Ensure compliance with Italian GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
Review and approve monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
Ensure effective internal controls, support compliance with Model 231 requirements, and drive continuous process improvements.
Supervise VAT reporting, tax submissions, and cross-border compliance activities, including Intrastat where applicable.
Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding invoicing, payment status, and account reconciliations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degreeinAccountingor a related field
10+ years of accounting experience, preferably within an international ormultinational organizationusing a Shared Service Center model.
Strong knowledge ofItalian accounting standards,tax regulations, andstatutory reporting requirements.
Practical experience withItalian VAT compliance, including international VAT reporting and cross-border transactions.
FluentinItalian and English, both written and spoken.
