Mechanical Engineer

Job Duties:
Mechanical design of the payload structure on CAD software (Siemens NX) Mechanical/Thermal system design and integration Required skills and qualifications:
Strong knowledge in CAD design Knowledge in manufacturing of metallic parts standards and 2 D drawings standards Knowledge of solid mechanics Understanding of the design process (from concept through to delivery and in-service support) Good knowledge of the English language for the working environment Good communication and team-working skills Desired Skills / Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in the field, ideally 5 years Experience with Siemens NX (harness design is a plus) Knowledge about space thermo-mechanical design (composite materials is a plus) Ability to communicate clearly Ability to follow a fast-paced design scenario Ability to interact with manufacturers for the production phases Candidate must be eligible to work in Italy.
