Logistics Implementation Specialist
Overview
In this role you will drive the deployment of new customer operations and transformation programs within DHL’s network. You’ll translate designs into actionable plans, coordinate go-live activities, and ensure aligned warehouse layouts and systems. You’ll work with Solution Design and Operations teams to validate feasibility, lead testing and readiness, and support post-launch stabilization. This position offers hands-on impact in a fast-moving logistics environment and exposure to large-scale start-ups and transformations.
Responsabilità
- Support the implementation of new customer operations, warehouse start-ups and transformation projects
- Translate operational and solution design requirements into practical execution plans
- Coordinate implementation activities during project execution, go-live and ramp-up phases
- Ensure warehouse layouts, operational flows, resources, equipment and systems are implemented according to project objectives
- Collaborate with Solution Design teams to validate operational feasibility and execution requirements
- Lead and coordinate testing activities, UAT,
process validation and operational readiness assessments
- Support the deployment and validation of WMS and operational systems
- Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and drive mitigation actions
- Work closely with Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual
- Support performance stabilization and continuous improvement initiates after launch
- Act as the key operational reference point throughout the implementation lifecycle
Requisiti fondamentali
- 3-5+ years of experience in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL environments
- Experience in warehouse start-ups, implementations, or operational transformation projects
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes
- Knowledge of WMS and operational systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel across Italy
