While the role will be supported by Solution Architects and Project Managers on the client side, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical design capability, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead teams through complex technical challenges while maintaining delivery momentum /ph3What You'll Be Doing /h3ulliLead a team of approx. 5 developers to implement an Azure Data bricks and Azure Data Factory based solution /liliDevelop the technical solution spec, estimation, working closely with the Solution Architect /liliComplete documentation required for the project relevant to the development team /liliCreate and monitor tasks for the development team and track through to completion /li /ulh3What You'll Bring Along /h3ulliBSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field /liliSnowflake certifications highly desirable /liliExperience:
8–10+ years in data systems, with 4+ years explicitly in leading teams /liliStrong experience in Azure Databricks Workspace configuration and administration /liliExpertise in Databricks cluster management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting /liliKnowledge of Azure cost estimation and optimization /liliHands-on experience with Databricks AI capabilities, including Genie and Mosaic AI, and their integration into data solutions /liliProficiency in Databricks access and security management /liliAbility to create and maintain Databricks Notebooks using SQL, Python, and R/Scala /liliSolid understanding of DataFrames, data manipulation, and transformation techniques within Databricks /liliExperience integrating Azure Data Factory (ADF) with Databricks, including triggering and orchestrating notebooks from ADF pipelines /liliStrong expertise in designing, building, and deploying Azure Data Factory pipelines across multiple environments /liliExperience in data modeling, data warehouse design, and management /liliGood knowledge of Azure SQL /liliExperience working within Agile development environments /liliStrong verbal and written communication skills /liliIndustry experience within Insurance, Reinsurance, or Financial Services is highly preferred /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
