Catastrophe Modeling Lead
Within the Group Climate Hub , we are looking for a proactive and experienced professional to join the Catastrophe Modeling team . The role will have direct responsibility for managing and coordinating catastrophe modeling activities for a defined portfolio perimeter, acting as a key reference point for internal and external stakeholders and contributing to strategic risk management and reinsurance decisions.
Key responsibilities
of the role will include: Lead and directly manage the end-to-end catastrophe modeling process for the assigned perimeter, ensuring the timely production, validation and interpretation of modeling results and exposure analyses Drive the evaluation, testing, selection and implementation of catastrophe models, developing recommendations and presenting conclusions to support reinsurance,
risk management and business decisions Perform and coordinate complex exposure management analyses, identifying key risk drivers, emerging trends and portfolio optimization opportunities Act as the primary point of contact for Group Business Units on catastrophe modeling topics, providing technical guidance and ensuring consistency of methodologies, assumptions and outputs across the Group Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including model vendors, brokers and reinsurers, overseeing model releases, calibration activities and technical discussions Take ownership of the deli
