Project Engineer (f/m/d)
OverviewAs a Project Engineer within Jacobs, you’ll support engineering leadership in coordinating design activities for industrial projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality targets are met. You will facilitate information flow among Jacobs, clients, and vendors, and help manage design documentation and deliverables. The role involves cross-discipline coordination, P&ID; management, and potential field support, with opportunities to travel and contribute to DHSE and GMP reviews. This is a hybrid position that blends office collaboration with on-site or CQV support to drive project success.

Responsabilità
Assist Engineering/Project Managers in technical project management to meet cost, schedule, performance, and DHSE goalsCoordinate technical activities and ensure timely information flow among stakeholders and vendorsMaintain the live Project Deliverables List and monitor design progress across disciplinesOversee and harmonize design documents (Equipment List, P&ID;, GMP Layout, etc.) for consistencySupport key project meetings (Design Reviews, 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, GMP Reviews)
and manage P&IDsAssist; in change management activities (change notices, TCR log) and procurement coordinationProvide on-site or CQV support when required and aid construction managementInterface with Quality, Project Manager, and Engineering Manager to implement corrective actionsCoordinate discipline activities to meet procurement/contracting targets and ensure documentation readinessReport to the Manager of Design Coordination Discipline and, when assigned, the Project Manager
Requisiti fondamentali
Degree in EngineeringMin 5 years in industrial project designExperience in pharma, data centers, buildings, or logistics is a plusKnowledge of technical/ commercial obligations and RFQ documentationTechnical bid analysis and support to procurementCoordination skills and ability to motivate teamsProblem solving, schedule/cost accountabilityKnowledge of local and international technical codesFluent in English and ItalianWillingness to travel frequently (short/long term)Strong communication and safety awarenesscross-functional collaborationeffective communicationproblem solvingRFQ documentation and technical specificationsP&ID; management and master copy coordinationHAZOP, DHSE, GMP review participation
