Project Control Lead
OverviewAs a Project Control Lead in Wood's Projects Team, you will coordinate a multidisciplinary planning and cost-control group for EPC projects in chemical, petrochemical and energy sectors. You will ensure consistent analysis and reporting across the project control team while engaging with international clients and assignments. The role emphasizes accurate cost/plan forecasting, risk assessment, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6. Responsabilità
Lead the project control team of planning and cost control engineers to ensure consistent analysis and reportingAct as focal point with clients/contractors to ensure accurate cost and progress reportingMonitor progress against milestones and forecast performance relative to planDevelop and maintain WBS and CBS,
and implement cost/planning control structuresManage cost and schedule risk analysis workshops with internal teams and clientsEnsure compliance with project controls processes and proceduresOversee accuracy and timeliness of S-curves, histograms, and P6-based project schedulesProvide analysis of current and future resource needs to the Project ManagerCoordinate communication interfaces for cost, planning, risk deliverables and servicesEnsure timely control and forecasting of budgets using earned value management principlesAccountable for delivering and maintaining project control outputs and reportsLead change impact assessment related to budgets and schedules
Requisiti fondamentali
Master Degree in Engineering or relevant disciplinesExperience in the role (at least two EPC projects spent as Project Control leader)Oracle P6 and Project Risk analysis abilitySelf-motivation, proactive outlook and good communication skillsAvailability to travel and assignments abroadUnderstanding of multidisciplinary engineering workflows from basic design to constructionFluent in Italian and EnglishSelf-motivationProactive mindsetExcellent communicationOracle P6Primavera P6Project Risk analysis
