Responsabilità
Define project scope and preliminary plan, including cost, time, and sample requirements based on client inputCoordinate testing activities, including travel to client sites when neededEngage with clients to explain UL procedures, discuss technical issues, negotiate deadlines and sample needsProvide technical assistance regarding product inspection and follow-up servicesEstablish test programs by reviewing files, samples,
and UL requirementsExamine samples for compliance and inform clients of non-conformities or scope changesCoordinate lab activities and manage technicians and engineering support staffHandle administrative aspects of project management and keep project recordsServe as Project Handler of record, and sign as Reviewer of record as assignedCommunicate project status and results to clients via reports and regular updatesPrepare Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pagesIncorporate continuous improvement concepts into all aspects of the jobResolve engineering issues related to Variation Notices by evaluating acceptability of changesAssist in developing UL requirements and special test methods/equipment as neededMay perform File Reviews and represent UL at industry eventsAdhere to UL Code of Conduct and security practicesPerform other duties as directed
Requisiti fondamentali
Bachelor in Engineering (or related field) and two years of directly related experienceDetailed knowledge of technical vocabulary in the disciplineBasic knowledge of laboratory testing apparatus and techniquescustomer-focusedstrong communicationrelationship buildingproject managementknowledge of testing standards and UL requirementslab coordination and data handling
