Buyer, Indirect Purchasing, Regional Commodity
OverviewIn this role you will manage the sourcing of multiple sub-categories within a broader category for AGCO in Italy, aligning supplier strategies with category goals. You will drive cost optimization, lead contract negotiations, and manage supplier performance in partnership with Operations and Finance. You’ll support regional and global category teams on long-term strategy deployment and RFx activities, while balancing priorities and stakeholder expectations. This position offers impact through cost savings and supplier collaboration in a global agricultural company.

Identify, qualify and manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluations and contract negotiationsLead negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing and conditionsDrive cost reduction initiatives and process improvementsOversee RFx preparation, execution and analysis,

Requisiti fondamentali
Bachelor’s Degree in Related FieldMinimum 3 years of sourcing experience (preferably indirect operations)Knowledge of Purchase-to-Pay processStrong analytical and negotiation skillsExcellent English and Italian communication skillsTeam player capable of working in a multicultural environmentAbility to drive change, motivate others, and work independentlyGood knowledge of ERP systems, Excel and PowerPointteamworkanalytical thinkinginfluence and negotiationERP systemExcelPowerPoint
