Design Engineer
OverviewAs a Design Engineer at AGCO, you will develop combines for crop processing, designing and detailing moderately complex sheet metal and structural components. You will work with an international team to ensure performance, durability, quality, and serviceability, while aligning designs with project goals and production needs. You will create production-quality drawings, support engineering changes, and participate in design reviews and validation activities. This role offers impact on product development and field-testing programs within a global farming technology company.

Requisiti fondamentali
Diploma Perito, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering3–5 years of mechanical engineering experiencebackground in agricultural machinery and equipmentproficient in 3D and 2D modeling (ProE preferred) and MS Officeskilled in drawing layouts and GD&Textensive; experience in designing sheet metal, castings, fabrications, welded/bolted assembliesknowledge of material properties, manufacturing techniques (DFM), failure and root cause analysis, inspection, coatings, fastenersunderstanding of crop flow mechanics, FEA/DEM/CFD tools, and linkagesproficiency in designing/specifying sheaves, belts, and bearingsfluent in English; Italian mother tonguewillingness for field tests and travel to Europe, USA, Brazilproblem-solvingcollaborationpositive, pragmatic attitude3D/2D modeling (ProE)sheet metal designcastings and fabricated steel structures
