Electrical Engineer - Large Power
OverviewIn this role you design, develop, and test electrical systems and electronic boards to support Vertiv’s infrastructure solutions. You will work with cross‑functional teams from concept to implementation, ensuring compliance and reliability across projects. You’ll analyze, validate, and troubleshoot designs, while maintaining thorough documentation and contributing to continuous improvement. Responsabilità
Design and develop electronic boards and electrical systems.Prepare technical specifications, design documents, drawings, and engineering reports.Develop and lay out schematics using Siemens Xpedition EDM; manage PCB layout with external collaborators.Perform electrical calculations, simulations, and technical analyses.Review designs for standards, safety, and project requirements.Support testing, validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.Identify and resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, or operation.Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, customers,
and project stakeholders.Select components and materials based on technical and project needs.Support risk assessments, product improvements, and corrective actions.Maintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure document control.
