Domain Consultant SecOps Transformation
Overview As a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation, you will own the Cortex portfolio and define technical solutions that align with customers’ key business imperatives. You will evangelize next-gen AI-powered security operations across SIEM, SOAR, XDR, and related domains, partnering with account teams to drive technical wins. You’ll lead PoVs, customer demos, and RFIs/RFPs, providing expert guidance from practitioner to executive level. This role shapes how customers strengthen and simplify their security posture, delivering measurable value. Responsabilità
* Collaborate with account teams to design customer solutions within your specialization
* Present as the expert to customers across all levels of the organization
* Serve as the main technical contact for Cortex for RFIs/RFPs
* Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing Cortex value
* Scope and lead PoV projects to drive technical wins
* Drive high technical validation and PoV win rates in your area
* Highlight product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation
* Architect security solutions to improve customer posture
* Document High-Level Design and Key Use Cases for implementation and value realization
* Help customers develop services around Cortex solutions
* Lead discussions on industry trends and evolving security landscape
* Discuss and position Palo Alto Networks or partner services for proper implementation
* Initiate projects to improve team performance and adopt organizational policies
* Provide customer feedback to Product Management and R&D; to influence features Requisiti fondamentali
* 6+ years of experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering in SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR
* IBM QRadar design/deployment/pre-sales experience highly desirable
* Strong customer-facing problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
* Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes
* Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions
* Scripting experience is a plus (Python preferred)
* Travel may be required for in-person meetings
* Proficient in English
