Senior Forward Deployed AI Scientist, Operations
Overview
In this role, you will build an AI-powered suite to transform how large, complex capital projects are understood and managed. You will work with diverse teams to design and deploy AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable business impact. You’ll bridge data science, AI, and real-world decision making to optimize project delivery and risk management. This is a hands-on, impact-focused role at the intersection of technology and operations, with opportunities to contribute to thought leadership and shape decision intelligence at scale.

Responsabilità Frame business challenges and design AI/analytics solutions for capital projects
Develop, test, and deploy AI-driven tools to predict outcomes, risks, and performance drivers
Collaborate with consultants, operations experts, and client teams to deliver measurable impact
Translate complex analyses into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders
Contribute to thought leadership through publications and conferences
Lead/participate in cross-functional projects and manage multiple stakeholders
Engage in ongoing client-facing work and mentoring within the team
Requisiti fondamentali Master's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field
4–7 years of relevant experience
Experience applying data science, ML, optimization, or simulation to business problems with clear impact
Experience or strong knowledge of large capital projects, including planning, scheduling, and optimization
Knowledge of Operations & Optimization methodologies for supply chain, engineering, procurement, and cost optimization
Strong Python programming skills; experience with optimization tools (Gurobi, OR-Tools, Pyomo) a plus
Knowledge of Primavera or similar project management software; BIM familiarity a plus
Ability to communicate complex analytical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Client-facing experience, collaborative within diverse teams, with leadership potential
Strong project management skills
Excellent English and Italian communication skills
