Senior Medical Strategy Lead, Clinical Development
Overview
As Senior Medical Director, you provide strategic medical and scientific leadership across the research and development lifecycle and clinical trials. You will engage with clients, shape proposals, and contribute as a medical director and subject matter expert in therapeutic areas, with expanding independence and leadership over time. You collaborate across IQVIA to leverage resources and drive thought leadership. This role offers meaningful impact in steering clinical development and customer solutions within a global CRO context.
Responsabilità Lead strategic proposal development in collaboration with the proposal team
Act as medical director and SME in client proposal bid defense meetings
Serve as consultant throughout the R&D; lifecycle and clinical trials, or as standalone customer solution
Formulate clinical development plans and drive the Center of Excellence strategy
Operate with independence from the therapeutic area head
Collaborate across the organization to leverage IQVIA resources for opportunities
Requisiti fondamentali Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
At least 5 years in pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting
Senior strategic leadership experience in a CRO background with Pulmonology expertise
MD with training in Pulmonology and board certification
Strong business knowledge and ability to drive organizational results
Practical experience leading execution of R&D; processes, projects, and tactics
Travel availability at least 20% (national/international)
