Legal Senior Advisor
Overview
In this role you will help shape Baker Hughes' IP strategy to protect and advance core energy technology. You will partner with engineering, R&D;, and leadership to manage complex IP matters and commercial agreements in a global, fast-paced environment. You will influence decision-making on patents, licensing, and disputes, contributing to the company’s technology and business objectives. Responsabilità Develop and implement IP strategies to support business and technology objectives
Advise leadership on strategic IP opportunities, risks, and competitive considerations
Manage IP technology portfolio
Develop and maintain IP policies, procedures, and best practices
Handle commercial transactions and licensing, IP disputes, and risk management
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, R&D;,
commercial and executive teams, plus global legal/compliance teams
Requisiti fondamentali English at C1 level or better
Active admission to practice law in at least one European jurisdiction
Minimum 7 years PQE in IP law
Minimum 5 years direct experience with technology in engineering/scientific capacity
Significant experience managing patent portfolios and advising on IP matters
Significant experience negotiating IP and technology-related contracts
Strong understanding of patents, trade secrets, copyrights, licensing, and related IP issues
Experience working with inventors, engineers, and business leaders in tech-driven organizations
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment
