IS Architect – Enterprise Architecture Practice
Overview
In this role you drive the development and adoption of ABB’s enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures. You partner with Domain Architects to ensure alignment with the enterprise vision, promote standardization and reuse across the IS landscape, and support architecture governance. You’ll help embed EA practices across business areas, engage stakeholders, and stay current with tech trends to enhance governance capabilities.
Responsabilità Define and continuously improve enterprise architecture principles, standards, reference architectures, and reusable building blocks
Align domain architectures with ABB's EA vision and target state in collaboration with Domain Architects
Drive standardization, interoperability, and reuse across the ABB IS landscape
Provide guidance to Domain and Solution Architects on applying architecture principles and best practices
Contribute to architecture governance processes, reviews, and risk/deviation management
Promote adoption of EA methodologies, tools, and governance across business areas and divisions
Facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement to mature architecture
Stay current with emerging technologies to enhance EA capabilities and governance
Requisiti fondamentali 6+ years of experience in Enterprise, Domain, or Solution Architecture or related field
Strong understanding of EA principles, frameworks, standards, and governance
Experience with architecture methodologies and modeling tools, preferably TOGAF and Ardoq
Knowledge of architecture reviews, compliance assessments, and exception management
Experience working in complex, decentralized, matrix organizations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with a proactive approach
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with influence without authority
