Assistant Financial Controller
Overview
In this role, you will support the Financial Controller to oversee hotel financial operations and ensure accuracy and compliance in a luxury hospitality setting. You’ll contribute to monthly to annual reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close while upholding strong internal controls. You work closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial decisions and safeguard assets. Responsabilità Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support budget management and forecasting, analyze variances, and provide recommendations
Oversee AP/AR processes for accuracy
Collaborate on general ledger management and record financial transactions
Participate in month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard hotel assets
Provide financial analyses to support strategic decision-making across departments
Ensure compliance with company policies and local/international regulations
Requisiti fondamentali Bachelor in Finance
at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a financial role
Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial control procedures
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with PMS/ERP
Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
Highly detail-oriented and discreet with confidential information
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
